It was great to have Danny Taylor and his reps back at the site for a second solidarity visit. The attempt by a Labour council to attack workers pay in the name of equal pay is appalling. The outcome of this strike will affect all council workers and how equal pay disputes are resolved across industry in Britain. That’s why we are supporting the striking bin workers and believe that Unite should stop funding a Labour Party that attacks our members.
