Campaign Funding Appeal
As part of the ongoing Executive Council election campaign, we are inviting individuals and branches to consider making a voluntary contribution to support campaign activity, including:
- Digital communications (e.g. social media promotion)
- Printed materials (e.g. leaflets)
Any branch support must be agreed through the appropriate branch decision-making process and in full compliance with Unite’s Rule Book and EC election guidance.
Branches should also ensure that any support provided is consistent with requirements around fairness and equal treatment of candidates.
Where branches are in a position to contribute, donations can be made at an appropriate level to branch size and available funds.
No branch donations should be made without formal branch approval and confirmation that this is in line with Unite’s financial and election rules.
